In general, the Randy Todd Band refers to any number of incarnations of ensembles with the Randy as the frontman and songwriter. The first project debuted in 1986 with Randy’s virginal public performance of an original, “Here Comes Thunder,” and later, his first full album was produced in 1992. There were also two ‘singles’ released prior to this in 1990/1991 titled “Diane,” and “Paradise,” and played on the local radio station.
Most recently, the Randy Todd Band played Canter’s Kibbitz Room, performing three new originals, “How we Love,” “Fingers in the Hand,” and “Walk On.” Photos, video, and mp3s from this event are coming soon on randytodd.com!

In Berkeley, The Randy Todd Band played every Wednesday night at the Bison Brewery, as well as at other local venues, including the Maritime Hall, the Fillmore, the Starry Plough, the Muse, the Boom Boom Room, and more.
In Los Angeles, the Randy Todd Band has appeared at Highland Grounds, Nocturnal Bar – now under new ownership as The TRiP, Molly Malone’s, Genghis Cohen, Cafe Laurent, Taix, and others.
Currently writing and recording a new album in Santa Monica, the Randy Todd Band has a lot more music for LA and the world to come!
